Two Artists Partner to Present Texas Ranger Package
D and T TEXAS RANGER COLLECTION
The saddle was done at the request of The Former Texas Rangers Foundation in a limited edition of 30 and at this time there are only 20 left. Don has 65 years in the leather industry. He has spent his life as a cowboy and master craftsman except for a stint in Korea. Don learned from the old masters; as a young man, he worked with many outstanding boot and saddle makers. When he was rodeoing, he would often work for free, if need be, to learn other methods to develop his own style.
The bronze sculpture, “Somewhere In Texas,” was created by sculptor Tom Moss. It is 25 ½ inches high and was done in a limited edition of 30. There are now 13 left in this edition. Tom has been sculpting for 35 years now with his bronzes in collections all over the world. He is primarily self taught but has studied with some of today's outstanding sculptors. Tom's meticulous attention to detail, coupled with his insightful grasp of the Old West, results in exquisitely crafted bronzes. He has now done five different sculptures of the Texas Ranger and all editions are sold out except for this latest piece, “Somewhere In Texas”. Take advantage of this special offer as the time is very limited.
